Based in Monticello, Ind., CDC Resources is a nonprofit human services provider that focuses on service needs of developmentally challenged children and adults. The agency offers variety of services and activities to support individuals and their families. It provides services to individuals in several regions of Indiana. The agency, founded by 1953, serves more than 600 infants, children, adults and families every year. It also provides a wide range of resources to general public, area businesses and local governmental bodies. CDC Resources organizes the first step programs for children up to the age of 3 years. Its programs focus on family support in rehabilitation of individuals. The agency also provides a preschool class for the special services cooperative and operates a day care center. CDC Resources offers community and agency-based adult services accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.
