Carmel High School is a four-year high school with more than 4,000 students in grades nine through 12. It is fully accredited by the Indiana Department of Education and the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement. The high school is governed by Carmel Clay Schools District and serves the city of Carmel and the township of Clay in southwestern Hamilton County in Indiana. Its curriculum includes a wide range of subjects, such as art, business, communications, English, family and consumer science, industrial technology, math, performing arts, physical education, science, social studies, special services, and world languages. Carmel High School is staffed with more than 250 classroom teachers, along with counselors, media specialists, nurses, and administrators. It also provides a variety of athletic programs, such as football, rugby, tennis, volleyball, golf, lacrosse, wrestling, basketball, soccer and softball.
