History
Our downtown store is the original home of Butler Winery, this is where it all began! We started our vineyard in 1992 and when the vines reached full crop size, we moved the wine production to a larger facility at our vineyard location. The original winery building in Downtown Bloomington serves as a satellite tasting room and also stocks Southern Indiana's largest selection of brewing supplies. During covid we are operating curbside only but are looking forward to opening our store up for full service in the near future.
Specialties
We specialize in small batch production of Indiana wines made from Indiana grapes. Our downtown shop in Bloomington offers Butler Wine by the bottle, by the glass or do a tasting and get a flight of 6 wines of your choice. We also stock Southern Indiana's largest selection of homebrewing and winemaking supplies! Our wine list and extensive brewing supply catalog can be found on our website.
