Established in 1860, Boys & Girls Clubs of America promotes and enhances the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence. It offers various programs and services related to education, environment, health, art, career, alcohol, drug abuse, pregnancy prevention, leadership development and athleticism. The club s programs include the Keystone Clubs, Youth of the Year, CareerLaunch, CLUBService, Goals For Graduation, NetSmartz, Healthy Habits, Passport to Manhood, MusicMakers, National Fine Arts Exhibit and TRIPLE PLAY, as well as Rookie League, The Major League Baseball and Triple Play Parents Game Plan. It has partnerships with the Beaumont Foundation of America, Charles Schwab Foundation, Cartoon Network and Microsoft. Boys & Girls Clubs of America maintains one of its offices in Gary, Ind.
