HistoryOur co-founders served in the Democratic Republic of Congo (then Zaire) with another mission organization and saw that there were no ministries to children. After they completed their term, they came back to the U.S. and with the help of friends, started Every Child Ministries, to become a ministry in D.R. Congo that focused on children. Since then opportunities arose to expand into Ghana and Uganda.SpecialtiesOur mission is to offer hope, practical help and dignity to African children and their families in the name of Jesus, with special emphasis on those who are broken or outcast for any reason. We do this through child sponsorship which provide funds for children to receive an education, Saturday clubs that have Bible lessons, teach personal hygiene, and teach practical skills like cooking & sandal making, medical clinics, and staff training.
