History
I got into Oriental Medicine because I had horrible back pain/Sciatica. I tried it out of desperation. I had just had my second child. He was 10 lbs and I had no stomach muscles strength after surgery. I was nursing and pain killers were out of the question. I was miserable. I had to be persistent because I had to have a doctor's referral at the time and it took 3 doctors before I got one to give me a referral. Thank goodness things are better now with referrals. My pain was completely gone in 2 weeks. I was amazed and decided that everyone should have the ability to try acupuncture. So I went to school and the rest is history. I have had a couple of bouts of back pain over the years but for the most part I have been pain free and it is going on 11 years.
