Walker Tile was founded in 1952, and soon became the leading tile store serving Chicago's south suburbs and the northwest Indiana area. In 1976 we moved into our current 27, 000 square foot location. In the mid-1980's, with the expansion of our carpet department, we changed our name to Walker Carpet & Tile World.
