Established in the United States in 1970, United Chemi-Con Inc., a subsidiary of Nippon Chemi-Con, manufactures and supplies aluminum electrolytic capacitors in North America. Based in Rosemont, Ill., it provides an array of products, such as solid conductive polymers and aluminum, high temperature and high-vibration resistant capacitors, multilayer ceramics capacitors, capacitors for electronic ballasts, automotive modules, computer equipment and many more. The firm manufactures a range of film capacitors and an established line of metal oxide varistors. United Chemi-Con Inc. distributes more than 8,000 products, including products manufactured by its manufacturing plant located in Lansing, N.C., as well as other capacitors manufactured across the world by Nippon Chemi-Con through its subsidiaries.
