Bloomington High School
Bloomington High School is a four-year high school serving more than 1,500 students. It offers classes from kindergarten grades nine through 12 and is governed by Bloomington School District 87. It offers a wide range of subjects, including English, math, science, history, social science, visual and performing arts, vocational education, industrial technology, consumer science, physical education and elective options. Bloomington High School provides various extracurricular activities, such as bands, choirs, music, arts and crafts, and operates clubs, including chess and drama clubs, environmental, Spanish and French clubs, National Honor Society, youth alive, and astronomy club. It additionally offers a variety of athletic programs, such as football, tennis, volleyball, track, basketball, cross-country, golf, soccer, swimming, wrestling and softball. Located in Bloomington, Ill., the school has a fully equipped library, a media center and a computer lab.
