HistoryAfter graduation from college I enlisted in the Air Force and played for 4 years as an Air Force musician. After my discharge from the Air Force, I started teaching part time and working other full time jobs. About 1990, I became a full time music teacher and eventually learned piano tuning about 20 years ago and added that as a service to my teaching. I have been a professional musician for over 30 years, playing concerts, weddings, parties etc. Currently, I play solo piano for parties, luncheons and all occasions. Along with this play by ear method, I also make sure that all students learn to read notes and count rhythm accurately. I teach all styles.
