As a young Landscape Architect, Kenneth Noll and his wife Michelle had a dream that was inspired by European Castle Architecture to build a Garden Kingdom. They did just that by purchasing property in Glen Carbon, IL on a site with an existing grain silo. The silo was transformed into what is now a local landmark known as The Garden Kingdom Rook. Taking shape of a classic castle tower, the 100 foot rook overlooks the beautiful Village of Glen Carbon. Since opening, The Garden Kingdom has expanded tremendously as have the services and products offered. With a wide variety of gifts, candles, bird accessories and garden accessories, the on site gift shop offers a unique shopping experience for garden lovers. The garden center and nursery also offer a growing selection of trees, shrubs, annuals, perennials and tropicals. Landscaping quickly evolved into a full service professional design & build, landscape and lawn maintenance, christmas decor, snow removal and more.
