St. Scholastica Academy is a Catholic girls high school located in Chicago. The school provides academic and liberal arts education, and enrolls more than 500 students in grades nine through 12. Its curriculum includes English, fine arts, mathematics, theology, science, social studies, and foreign languages with a choice in French and Spanish. Additonally, the academy provides courses in accounting, business management, photography, and family and consumer science. It also provides basic courses in computer applications that include word processing and Microsoft Excel. Additonally, the academy organizes various extracurricular activities, such as theater, chorus, drawing, painting, piano classes, drama and theater. St. Scholastica Academy also provides physical education and has a library that provides online catalogs, newspapers, magazines, encyclopedias, internet search tools, and fiction and nonfiction books. It also offers various sports activities, such as basketball, softball, volleyball, track and field, cross country and tennis.
