Known as the "parish with heart," St. Margaret Mary Church formed in 1980 by combining two existing parishes: St. Peter and Paul Church in Naperville, established in 1846, and St. Joan of Arc in Lisle, established in 1924. Today, St. Margaret Mary's provides opportunities to learn about the Roman Catholic faith through mass, prayerful celebrations, challenging educational activities and service to the community. Educating children, teens and adults is a high priority of the parish, which has education directors and well-trained teachers who specialize in various age sectors. The church also features an interpreter for the hearing impaired at Sunday's 10:45am service.
