St. Lambert Church is a Catholic church located in southeastern Skokie. It's part of the Roman Catholic parish of the Archdiocese of Chicago. The church finds its inspiration in the holy figure of St. Lambert, who was martyred to the church for his defense of marital fidelity. He was assassinated by his enemies by a javelin through the heart while he was standing on the altar of the church he had built.
The feast of St. Lambert is traditionally celebrated on September 17.
