St. Charles East High School was once the site of the city's only high school -- St. Charles High School -- until St. Charles North was built and students relocated there in 2001. The school is on the same campus as the Norris Cultural Arts Center and neighbors Wredling Middle School.
In 2010, Newsweek named East as one of America's "Best High Schools." It offers a diverse and rigorous academic program.
Home of the East Saints, the school has maintained a successful athletics program, with several teams earning state titles.
