Sikia is one of two full-service restaurants managed and operated by Washburne Culinary Institute. Sikia features a rotating menu that highlights the variety of global contemporary cuisines and cultures students study in Washburne’s International Cuisine course. All of the food is prepared and served by senior-level Washburne Culinary students. Students working in Sikia are able to further their expertise in menu planning, food preparation and cooking, as well as gain essential front-of-the-house service skills. The opportunity to work at Sikia is a final project before the students graduate and launch their culinary careers.
