History

The first replica of the sacred original image of Our Lady of Guadalupe arrived in Des Plaines on November 24, 1996. It came with the faculty of giving those who visit this Shrine the same intercession, thanks and blessings as if the pilgrim visited the Basilica in Mexico.

This is a very nice church that does outdoor services when able to. It's very far for us to come from Chicago, so we cannot come regularly....but it's a very nice service in Spanish.
