Visitors to downtown Naperville can't miss seeing Saints Peter and Paul Parish because it is the tallest building in the area. The steeple climbs high into the air, giving the church an air of distinction.
The church, founded in 1846, has a large congregation and an expansive campus, including a church office and a school that serves grades K-8. The church offers a number of programs including a new parish orientation that is held once a month. The parish offers Meals on Wheels and homebound communion. Visits are also made to hospital and nursing homes. Programs are available for those interested in learning more about Catholicism and the Bible. The church has several choirs including children's, contemporary and funeral choirs. A children's liturgy is available as well as Bible study classes and a youth ministry.
