Morton High School
Morton High School is a four-year secondary school serving more than 1,000 students in grades nine through 12. Morton High School s curriculum includes more than 125 courses, such as college preparatory, general education and technology courses. It offers a variety of facilities, including a cafeteria, library, performing arts center, television studio and computer laboratories. Additionally, it offers various extracurricular, academic, business, industrial technology and speech-related activities. It has a band that performs for school musicals, madrigal dinners and graduation ceremonies, and has various divisions, including marching, concert, symphonic, pep and jazz bands, brass ensemble and pit orchestra. The high school provides a variety of athletic activities, such as football, cross country, volleyball, soccer, golf, basketball, wrestling, baseball, softball, tennis, and track and field. Located in Morton, Ill., the high school is operated by Morton School District 709.
