Champaign-Urbana Public Health District
Champaign-Urbana Public Health District, also known as CUPHD, offers various educational, collaboration and regulation services. It provides pregnancy care, nutrition counseling, supplemental food coupons, pregnancy tests, genetics referrals and breastfeeding support services for women. The district also offers immunizations, dental care, blood tests, baby care and developmental testing services for children. Additionally, the district provides case management and health screening services. Established in 1937, Champaign-Urbana Public Health District inspects tanning facilities and food and drink establishments. The district, with a location in Champaign, Ill., also operates a facility in Rantoul, Ill. Its grants are administered by the Illinois Department of Public Health.
