Established in 1993, the PACTT Learning Center is a therapeutic day school that offers services for individuals with autism. It serves more than 25 students between the ages of 3 and 21. The center has a staff of teachers, therapists and families. The PACTT Learning Center provides classes in reading, writing, math, cooking and art. Additionally, it conducts community outings, as well as offers speech, physical and occupational therapy services. The center also provides training related to the development of communication, socialization and life skills. The PACTT Learning Center features a main and a coach house, parks and the Loyola Park beach. It is a part of PACTT, which is also known as Parents Allied with Children and Teachers for Tomorrow. PACTT maintains group homes and offers vocational training and employment assistance services. The PACTT Learning Center is located in Chicago.
