Northwest Professional Hearing is a hearing practice focusing on assisting the hearing impaired through the use of technology. We are a family owned and operated business. In the summer of 2003 we opened our doors and began practicing in Countryside, IL. Our main goal then as it is now is to provide a high level of satisfaction to our patients through outstanding patient care, service and pricing. We opened our own practice because our experience with other offices was less than satisfactory. They often skimped on patient care and service. The "Franchise Practice" is an emerging trend in the hearing healthcare field. Many private practices are partially or wholly selling to large corporations. These corporations have control over the products, services and patient care being provided to consumers. The bottom line is their sole focus. Currently there are approximately 31 million Americans with hearing loss. 65% of those people have not yet reached retirement age. The younger patient demands better technology. They do not want to suffer as their parents and grandparents did with poor sound quality and poor fitting products. Our battle is with the ubiquitous stigma still associated with hearing aids. This younger population of hearing impaired are wary purchasing hearing instruments. The goal of NPHC is to provide this cutting edge technology at a more reasonable cost than the larger chains. Additionally, we want to provide the type of service and care needed on an individual basis. Along with the excellent technology today comes the ability to address many of the issues that plagued the generation that purchased older devices. Through a combination of education, counseling and software programming our practitioners spend whatever time is necessary to accomplish patient satisfaction. By maintaining our independence we are not burdened with "corporate" quotas for time and sales.
