Building & Fire Code Academy
The Building & Fire Code Academy is an Illinois State Board of Education-approved private business and vocational school that provides education related to the administration, application and enforcement of building and fire codes. It is owned and operated by B & F Technical Code Services. The Building & Fire Code Academy encompasses all major model codes and standards of construction disciplines. Its programs are planned for several ancillary municipal services, such as zoning, public works and permit coordination.
