Though it may look like any other low-rise office building, tucked away along the Metra tracks of western Evanston, inside this beautiful building is far from ordinary. Visitors are greeted by twisted figures, both human, animal and other-worldly, that forever frozen in time. This is the Midwest Clay Guild, and since 1971, it's been a communal artitst's studio space, where artists can transform individual visions and dreams from cold, malleable clay into sculpture. Check the website for more details on when the galleries are open to the public.
