The physicians at the Merit Center for Sleep Health study, diagnose and treat sleep disorders including insomnia, narcolepsy and obstructive sleep apnea, as well as other sleep issues, such as walking and talking during sleep, night terrors and snoring. Individuals who have or think they may have a sleep disorder partake in sleep studies, or polysomnograms, and are monitored by physicians who can then diagnose the issue and prescribe a treatment. Treatments include CPAP machines to open airways and treat obstructive sleep apnea, laser surgery to correct airway obstructions, dental appliances and referrals to other health specialists.
