Founded in 1919, Meadows Mennonite Retirement Community operates through an association of churches and community support. The community center offers a spectrum of rehabilitation and nursing services, including Alzheimer's and dementia care, skilled nursing and independent living, as well as restorative, physical, occupational and speech therapies. In addition, it provides various programs and activities related to music, reminiscing, normalization, life skills, sensory simulation, gardening, cooking, arts and crafts, and passive and active games. Meadows Mennonite Retirement Community, through its therapy department, offers improvement programs for residents' mobility, balance, endurance, and fitness and muscle strength. The community center is located in Chenoa, Ill.
