Macomb Senior High School, also known as MHS, enrolls more than 500 students in grades 9 through 12. Its academic curriculum includes English, math, science and computer education. The school has art, ecology and yearbook clubs, as well as offers membership opportunities in the National Honor Society. Macomb Senior High School also offers various sports activities, including basketball, football, baseball, and track and field. It operates a library and provides food services. The school is accredited by the Illinois State Board of Education and the North Central Association of Secondary School. Macomb Senior High School is a part of Macomb Community Unit School District 185, which operates elementary and junior and senior high schools.
