HistoryWBGL began broadcasting on October 31st 1982, as a listener-supported, non-commercial, non-profit radio ministry. WBGL has since grown to include 10 full power signals and 3 translator signals that extend from Chicagoland down through central and southern IL, and from East St. Louis, to Terre Haute, IN.SpecialtiesWBGL's goal is to encourage people in their journey toward Christ. We want to be a source of encouragement through uplifting, Christ-centered music and programs... and through friendship-as you invite us into your car, home, or workplace.
