Founded in 1994, Lincoln Middle School offers a range of academic and extracurricular options to more than 500 students in grades six through eight. Its academic curriculum includes language arts, English, mathematics, science and social studies. The school conducts classes in Spanish, computer applications, music, and special and physical education. It also operates builders and art clubs and conducts a variety of events, such as reading and math family nights. The school maintains a library and media center that features a collection of books and instructional materials, as well as operates a parent-teacher organization. In addition, it employs over 40 staff members and is located in Peoria, Ill. Lincoln Middle School is a part of Peoria Public Schools District 150, which governs various educational institutions.
