History
Leslie Lancry first discovered her passion for languages at the age of 11 when she became a pen pal with a friend in France. At the age of 17, Leslie organized a backyard summer camp to teach French to four-year-old children in her suburban Chicago neighborhood. Her love for teaching languages continued at Harvard University as she focused on developing an international business career that culminated in founding Language Stars in 1998. Leslie remains actively involved serving on our Board of Directors.
