"Kristin Stabell, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine and geriatric medicine physician who sees patients 18 years and older. She promotes preventative care and diagnoses and manages chronic conditions such as arthritis, asthma, diabetes, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), gastrointestinal issues, high cholesterol, heart disease, high blood pressure, migraine, obesity, sleep apnea, vascular disease, and neurodegenerative diseases, such as dementia, chronic pain and Parkinson’s. She also coordinates diagnostic testing, specialty referrals and manages prescribed treatment regimens. Dr. Stabell specializes in identifying and treating both hereditary and acquired medical conditions, and focuses on patient-centered solutions. She listens to patients, provides advice, and offers resources to help them make informed decisions and improve their health. Dr. Stabell also offers in-home visits for patients who are homebound. When she is not caring for her patients, Dr. Stabell enjoys cycling, yoga, Pilates, swimming, gardening, sewing and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Dr. Stabell earned her medical degree from Rush University Medical College in Chicago. She completed his internal medicine internship and residency at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Stabell has been board-certified in internal medicine since 1986 and in geriatric medicine since 1992. This practice is a part of BJC Medical Group of Illinois."
