History
Our family started farming in Naperville in 1852. There were many generations of grain and dairy farming. Frank Keller IV started Keller's Farmstand Naperville in 1991 after returning from a 2-year commitment in the Peace Corps in Lesotho, Africa where he taught the local villagers how to farm and irrigate their crops. Instead of following Dad's footsteps in grain farming, Frank decided vegetable farming was his passion. He started selling homegrown vegetables from a cart at the end of the Naperville farm driveway. Frank has expanded the business to include locations in Plainfield and Oswego, as well as a summer market in the parking lot of Fox Valley Mall in Aurora. Although the Naperville farm no longer remains, the Naperville Farmstand is in the original location. Our Oswego farm is where our produce is now grown.
