The Frankfort Square Park District manages almost 30 parks in the Frankfort area as well as a dog park, Splash Park water park, a skate park and a Frisbee golf course. Athletic leagues are also maintained by the district. Some of the activities include basketball, softball, indoor soccer and floor hockey. One of the unique programs the Frankfort Square Park District offers is its Early Learning Center. The center, which has been in operation for more than 27 years, is a developmentally appropriate preschool program for kids three to five.
