Boylan Central Catholic High School
Boylan Catholic High School is a coeducational institute serving students in grades nine through 12. It is one of six high schools belonging to the Rockford diocese. Its more than 45 year-old facility includes a chapel, library, academic support center, guidance offices, an auditorium with modern lighting and fly systems, a gymnasium, a weight room and a wrestling room. Its building also has band, chorus and lesson rooms, computer-aided design lab, two computer networking labs, a computer-equipped business education lab, foods and sewing rooms, wood shop and a complete cafeteria. Boylan Catholic High School provides studies in Bible, Christian teachings, art, business education, computer science, English and language arts. The school s curriculum also includes classes in mathematics, science, social studies and physical education. Its extracurricular activities include fine arts, music, band, and dance and drama classes. The school s sports activities include basketball, volleyball and football. It is located in Rockford, Ill.
