Illinois Center for Autism is a nonprofit, community-based, mental health treatment and educational agency that serves people suffering from autism. It offers various client and family services that include autism related information; referral to doctors and dentists; behavior management and language skills development; advocacy referral; and telephone consultation regarding individual issues. It also offers other community services, such as children's special day school, transitional service and pasta fare. It is approved by the Illinois State Board of Education, and is accredited by the North Central Association and the Commission Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. The center is located in Fairview Heights, Ill.
