History
The Illinois Blues Festival has taken place every year since 1989. It is an all ages festival that lasts two days. In 1989, bands such as Blues Machine, Mighty Joe Young, The Hawks and Rhythm Riot took the stage. On the 23rd anniversary in 2011, featured bands included Savoy Brown, Duke Tumatoe and John Primer. Since 1989, more than 200 bands have played at the Illinois Blues Festival.
