Hillel Torah North Suburban Day School is located in Skokie, Ill. Its academic curriculum is approved by the Illinois State Board and the school is recognized by the North Central Association. Its areas of Judaic studies include prayer, dinim, chumash and Hebrew. Its general studies areas include living on the land-communal life and use of the natural resources, exploring city life, nation s capital, Chicago, map skills and current events. Its early childhood program offers integrated learning of Jewish and general studies while simultaneously exploring science, art, literature, music and physical activities. It offers regular physical education and computer classes to the students. Its students participate in cultural experiences, field trips and on-site programs. The parent-teacher association coordinates a variety of after-school programs, including Judaic computer club, science club, intramural sports, math enrichment, math counts, Israeli dance, chess, cooking, tiger scouts and Cub Scouts.
