Highland School, home of the Huskies, was built in 1952 and later enlarged. It has a student population of 275 under the leadership of Principal Judy Kmak. The school, one of 11 District 58 elementary schools, boasts an active PTA and student clubs. Olympic gold medalist Cammi Granato is Highland's most famous alum.

Montini Catholic High School offers academic programs to students in grades nine through 12 and is located in Lombard, Ill. Its curriculum includes fine arts, English, mathematics, science, social studies and physical education. Its guidance and counseling department assist in finding information about college preparation, course selections, scholarships, financial aid, standardized tests and alternative learning experiences.
