Heyworth Elementary School provides a learning environment for students in prekindergarten through grade six. It has small size classes to provide individualized attention and has a curriculum to suit the requirements of slow learners and gifted and talented students. It offers mathematics, language arts, social studies, science and computer technology as its core curriculum. Its parent-teacher organization works closely with the school staff on providing parent volunteers for school activities and financial assistance for special projects. The school organizes educational trips, picnics and sports activities for the students. It is located in Heyworth, Ill.
