Heartland Human Care Services is one of the leading direct service human rights organizations in the United States that develops and implements solutions for the residents of the Midwest. It engages families, adults, seniors and youths in various programs related to human rights. Established in 1888, it serves more than 200,000 people annually through several programs and referrals. The organization s programs are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. Heartland Human Care Service provides solutions for juvenile justice, domestic violence, addiction and disaster recovery, HIV/AIDS, refugee resettlement, family reunification, homelessness, housing stability, asset building and vocational adult education. Heartland Human Care Services is a wholly owned subsidiary of Heartland Alliance for Human Needs & Human Rights, which is an independent, nonprofit organization that offers housing, health care and legal protection programs.
