Nice pool, horrible locker rooms and nasty kitchen. Supervisor Tim is terrible. Wouldn't have a function there because dealing with the Supervisor would give me an ulcer.

Western Springs Recreation

This large building in the western corner of Western Springs is home to a number of businesses, including two preschools, a dance group and an art studio, as well as one large gym that can be divided into two basketball/volleyball cross-courts. A number of Recreation Department programs are held in the building, such as fitness classes, aerobics, pilates, and youth/adult basketball. Full locker rooms with showers are available. Open gym time is also available, so you can drop by and shoot the ball around with buddies.

Tinley Park Park District

The Tinley Park-Park District maintains 39 parks, 30 ball fields and several facilities. The district is located in the village of Tinley Park, Ill., a southwest suburb of Chicago. Tinley Park-Park District is just 30 minutes southwest of downtown Chicago. The district s premier facility is the Tony Bettenhausen Recreation Center, which provides amenities, such as an indoor playground, indoor jogging and walking track, as well as a gymnasium with three basketball courts and six volleyball courts. The facility also provides room rentals, program rooms, an arts and crafts room, teen and senior drop-in center, museum and teaching kitchen. The district also operates the Tinley Park-Park District Fitness Center, Landmark Museum & Church, McCarthy Recreation Building, McCarthy Miniature Golf, Vogt Visual Arts Center, Extreme Skate Park and White Water Canyon Water Park.
