Alamo-University of Illinois Bookstore
The Alamo II, located in Normal, Ill., was started in 1933 by two graduates of Illinois State Normal University as the Co-op Bookstore. The bookstore, which changed its name in 1975, has expanded to serve the growing needs of Illinois State University. The Alamo II sells and buys back a wide variety of text books, fiction and non-fiction books, a variety of medical books, desktop and laptop computers, monitors, wireless routers, portable music players, software, music CD s, DVD s and video games. In addition, The Alamo II sells a full line of Illinois State Univeristy gifts and apparel, such as sweatshirts, t-shirts, shorts, jackets, footballs, license plate frames, pennants and decals.
