History
The Feltre School, a 501(c)(3), nonprofit corporation, was established to provide a place of learning for people from diverse educational backgrounds who shared a common belief in the efficacy of liberal arts learning.
Specialties
The Feltre School is an institution for adults who wish to continue their learning in a serious and thoughtful way. We offer courses in English Grammar, Composition, Public Speaking, and a variety of philosophy and humanities courses; Plato's Republic, Aristotle's Ethics, The Artist in Society, Homer's Odyssey, Latin Grammar, book discussion meetings, and more. Classes are held once a week in the evenings and also on Saturday mornings. Most of our students are seeking to improve their communication skills, or simply engage in thoughtful and reflective discussions with other like-minded people. The School is also home to The Library Theatre at Feltre where we produce a 2 or 3 play season of classic works of drama in our intimate library space.
