Welcome to Cawn/Krantz, a pediatric clinic providing cutting-edge interventions for children and their families. Our interdisciplinary staff licensed and experienced speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, developmental therapists, and social workers are experts in providing individual assessments and interventions based on a child's unique profile. Intervention programs are unique to each child: as a child develops and adapts, so do our interventions. Guided by the DIR/Floortime Model, we emphasize the child's individual differences and the effect those differences have on how the child relates, communicates, and learns. Our therapy environment further encourages movement, exploration, and sensory stimulation. The interactions of the licensed therapist, parents, and child are an integral part of our speech and language, occupational, and developmental therapies. We maintain a strong commitment to including parents in the therapeutic process ; we encourage ongoing communication throughout the evaluation process and the therapy a child receives at our clinic. As co-directors we are actively involved in assessment and therapy sessions: we'll facilitate, coordinate, and advocate for a child's therapy program with physicians, teachers, and other support professionals.
