Heartland Community College
Founded in 1991, Heartland Community College is a fully accredited institution of higher education in Illinois. Its main campus is located in Normal, Ill., and covers an area of more than 200,000 square feet. The college features athletics, information technology, health and human services, social and business science, adult and community education, and humanities and fine arts departments. It also features the Child Development Lab and Learning Center, which is a nationally accredited demonstration laboratory school. The center provides care and education to children in the areas of arts, motor development, languages, literature, science, math, dramatic plays, and music and creative movements. Heartland Community College is recognized by the Illinois Community College Board.
