Since 1964, CARC, is also known as the Canadian Arctic Resources Committee has been providing services to people with developmental disabilities and other special needs by promoting independence and community integration. The organization s more than 400 staff members serve over 1,500 individuals through its early intervention centers, family support programs and community living services. CARC s community living services include residential options for adults with disabilities. The organization also provides job placement services to men and women. Its work center operates a pillow production plant that produces approximately to million pillows annually for hotels, airlines and medical centers.
