History
What began as a 400 sq ft working studio for Susan Lurie (mother of daughters Melinda Kaplan, Lena Blitstein and Samantha Shapiro), ENAZ has grown into 3 womens contemporary stores located in Highland Park, Northfield and Libertyville. Susan Lurie began her career as a dedicated artist making everything from fringe handbags, leather pillows, cowhide photo albums and beaded keychains. Her travels to Sante Fe and California brought originality to her town that no one has seen before. After Susan's popularity grew and other venders complimented her designs, ENAZ started to carry notable brands such as Nocona cowboy boots, Michael Stars t-shirts, and Burt's Bees candles. After 7 years of business in Highland Park, ENAZ grew into a 4,000 sq foot store housing the hottest labels and became one of the leading specialty stores for women in the North Shore. In September 2009, ENAZ opened its second location in Northfield and a third location in Libertyville in 2013.
