History
The Elgin Tower was originally the Home Banks Building, built in 1929 to house the Home National Bank an Home National Savings and Trust. The Tower is one of two art deco buildings in Elgin and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2002. Purchased in 2016 by Capstone Development, the Elgin Tower has been fully restored to feature luxury loft apartments that are being managed and leased by Miller Chicago Real Estate. The Elgin Tower Luxury Lofts provide refined lifestyle apartments in the historic Elgin Tower along the Fox River in Downtown Elgin, across the street from the Metra Station. The Property consists of 44 One and Two Bedroom Apartments. Each apartment includes central air conditioning, in-unit laundry, and full appliance package including dishwasher.
