Concrete Structures of the Midwest specializes in cast-in-place concrete construction and design for airport runways, highways, high-rise buildings and specialty flooring. The company was originally founded as a partnership Chapman, Mazza & Aiello in 1961. Concrete Structures has a seasonal work force, which peaks at more than 300 people and averages approximately 175 throughout the year. The firm primarily operates in the Chicago metropolitan area, but is also licensed to do business and perform work in numerous states throughout the Midwest and Sun Belt regions.
