Community Film Workshop has 31 years of hands-on media education experience. CFWC has implemented successful school-to-college program for high school youth and worked with schools and community groups. The nationally acclaimed Youth In Motion, is a youth developed business that employs teens. The Media Arts and New Technologies, after school program for high school youth ages 14 to 19 teaches digital media and computer animation and graphics.Integral to Community Film Workshop's teaching philosophy is the artist mentor relationship. It involves listening, questioning, molding, affirming and charging artists to be their best. It is the artists' changed view that creates a changed community.
